“What will you do about it?”
It just occurred to me that I’ve successfully injected taking responsibility and being proactive into my system. I’m looking at a problem or listening to someone talk about a problem and I’m thinking “what will you do about it?”
I’m listening to someone talk about plans and I’m thinking “when will you start?”
You didn’t ask to be born but you’re here now, what will you do about it?
You wished you had grown up under different circumstances but you didn’t, what will you do about it?
You didn’t deserve it but they hurt you so bad your emotional health is in shambles, what will you do about it?
You’re a good person but you’re broke and sad, what will you do about it?
You’ve been praying and trusting God but you have no result to show for it, what will you do about it?
You want to love and be loved but your relationships keep failing, what will you do about it?
Your mental health is a mess and you hate how unstable it is, what will you do about it?
I most certainly can not list all the unpleasant situations in this life here but that’s not even the point. The point is yes, maybe life has not been very nice to you and things fall apart is a good title for your life story but what will you do about it?
Will you drown yourself in worries?
Will you keep complaining and crying?
Will you feel sorry for yourself and keep feeding yourself pity?
Will you live your whole life discouraged and defeated?
Will you keep making excuses and enduring the unpleasant circumstances?
OR
Will you do something?
Will you take the first step by looking unto Jesus?
Will you turn to God?
Will you let him help you?
Will you receive the grace he’s freely given to you?
Will you keep following the Holy Spirit as he helps you to live abundantly?
What will you do?
Whatever you decide to do; do it now.
Be like Nike, just do it.
O sese ye mi ni bai.
All the “so what will you do now?”
Thank you!
